Become a Volunteer for the Healdsburg Jazz Festival
2017 Meetings on Wednesdays
March 29, April 26 and May 10
At Healdsburg High School Library, 6 p.m.
The Healdsburg Jazz Festival is a non-profit, and it literally runs on volunteer energy. We believe that since jazz has been the definitive American music for the past 100 years, keeping it alive and vital is a labor of love. Volunteer your time, energy and expertise to the Healdsburg Jazz Festival by joining one of our committees.
Dates: There will be three meetings of volunteers for sign-up, organization and assignment of tasks. Meeting dates are all Wednesdays:
- March 29
- April 26
- May 10
Location: Volunteer meetings for the 2017 annual Festival will be held at the Healdsburg High School Library, 1024 Prince Ave., from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Enter from Powell Ave., drive past the parking lot on your right and the meridian that follows. The library is the corner of the first building on your right. (Local residents often vote at this location.)
As the next Healdsburg Jazz Festival takes shape, your time and energy will be greatly valued on any one of a number of important committees – on-going, year-round groups that help give Healdsburg a national reputation as “one of the best small jazz festivals in the country.”
Start by attending the meetings to find out what we are up to, and learn more about how you can participate. It’s a lot of fun — and the music is great!
