Become a Volunteer for the Festival

Stand up! Volunteer to help the Festival
achieve success
The Festival literally runs on volunteer energy. Jazz is the best of American music for the past 100 years, and keeping it alive and vital is a labor of love. Volunteer your time, energy and expertise to the Healdsburg Jazz Festival by joining one of our committees.
There are three general meetings for volunteers this spring, in preparation for the 2011 Healdsburg Jazz Festival. All are welcome, but encouraged to attend the earliest meeting first so you can work on projects you enjoy and are qualified for. The dates are:
- Wednesday, March 16
- Wednesday, April 20
- Wednesday, May 18
Meetings start at 6pm, and are held at the Alliance Medical Center, 1341 University St. (The entrance is off Prentice Street behind the Healdsburg Hospital.) We meet in one of the conference rooms on the second floor of the Center. For a map follow this link.
Start by attending the meetings to find out what we are up to, and learn more about how you can participate. It’s a lot of fun — and the music is great!
As the next Healdsburg Jazz Festival takes shape, your time and energy will be greatly valued on any one of a number of important committees – on-going, year-round groups that help give Healdsburg a national reputation as “the jazz community.” Call (707) 433-4633 or send e-mail to info@healdsburgjazzfestival.org to get started now.

@ 3:49 pm:
I am interested in volunteering as a festival worker. I am recently relocated from Kansas City, MO, where I was a volunteer worker many years at the late Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival as well as serving on the Kansas City Blues Society Board of Directors. I would like to become involved in helping out wherever possible.
My email address is: dormido46@yahoo.com. My phone number is 816-519-4779
