After the Latin Jazz Ensemble at the Healdsburg Plaza, take a short walk to Partake by K-J, the new Tasting Lounge and Flight Club in town, next door to Healdsburg Bar & Grill.

Here the vibe will continue, with Carlitos Medrano & Sabor de Mi Cuba, featuring Julio de la Cruz on keyboards and vocals and Antonio Cortaba on bass and vocals,  performing many styles of Cuban music such as son, changui, rumba and salsa.

Carlitos Medrano left Cuba for the Bay Area in 2008 and found a highly developed Latin jazz scene willing to open its arms to the hot conguero from Havana. Since then he’s played with a host of locals, including Jesus Diaz & Latin Ensemble, Pellejo Seco, and more.
